Tom Gayley: One thing everyone in the whole world has in common is that that they want to lick Tom Daley’s perfect body and boyishly round face.
Well now he is officially bi (gay later…). Obviously, anyone who has eyes and ears knew this was about to happen. Reaffirmed by the love of his teacup pig and the fact that he jerks off to his own instagram speedo pics.
But good for him… blah blah rights, young people, wear a condom… Who the fuck is this spring boyfriend cunt? Let’s throw down bitch.
Register to Vote Sluts: I fully believe if you dont vote you have no right to complain.
“You will never forget your first time… you vote!
The Democratic Alliance Youth has released a youth registration video entitled “You will never forget your first time”. This video speaks directly to the youth of this nation to remind them of the importance of voting. Many young South Africans will be voting for the first time.
This weekend, the youth of South Africa will be able to register to vote at their closest voting stations to ensure that next year they can vote for a party that truly will work to enable their best future. The 9th and the 10th of November present the youth with a very important opportunity this weekend.
The South African youth is most adversely affected when it comes to unemployment, poor education, skills development and opportunities to succeed in life. We must make a stand. The future in this country has always belonged to those willing to fight for it. Our fight must be at the ballot box for a party that truly represent the needs of young South Africans.
The IEC has estimated that only 1 out of 10 people in the ages between 18- 35 will register to vote. It has also been publicized that voter registration is even lower amongst the born free generation.
The youth has the most to gain or lose in the 2014 elections. The moment has arrived for our generation to make a change. 2014 can be the year that we vote for better education and jobs. Let’s all make it a first time to remember.” - Mbali Ntuli, DA Youth Leader
MCQP - Space Cowboys: It’s nearly that time again, yes gay Christmas or MCQP is around the corner. Sadly I won’t be attending this year due to work and shit but I do encourage everyone who can to go go go.
I think the theme is okay but why aren’t we being like super gay? Are secret straight people running this behind our gay backs? I want a theme like Rainbows and Unicorns god dammit. Also, why the stadium again? That venue to not suitable for heels.
This is SA’s biggest dress-to-theme costume party’s 20th birthday! Grab your spurs and cowboy hats and all aboard the MCQP rocket ship for an event that’s bound to be out of this world.
Saturday, 14 December 2013 at Cape Town Stadium. Gates open at 17:30 this year. Yes, they are starting early since they obligated to close so early.
Visit www.MCQP.co.za for all other details.
Monty’s Python - The Penis Song: A lovely little tune for a Sunday morning.
Three cheers for your willy!
#PushPurple: Spirit Day is on the 17th of October this year! That is next week!
Last year my boo Mika Stefano coordinated the South African leg of the well-known campaign #SPIRITDAY. Together with over 35 local celebrities, they all took the pledge to wear purple.
This year he has done it again and got Jay Jays to shake their fist at bullying this October by supporting #PushPurple and Spirit Day.
As a brand, Jay Jays is synonymous with free-thinking young people, which is why equality and freedom of expression is such an important cause to them. In aid of the campaign, #PushPurple bands will be available at Jay Jays stores at cost price, while online messaging and window displays will encourage young people to wear purple on Spirit Day, 17 October, in support of a world in which all teens are celebrated and accepted for who they are.
#PushPurple wristbands will be available at R20 for 5 in all Jay Jays stores during October. GO GET THEM!
#SPIRITDAY is a day when millions of people wear purple to speak out against bullying and to show their support for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) youth. The idea came from an amazing teenager named Brittany McMillan, who wanted to remember those young people who lost their lives to suicide and to take a stand against bullying.
Anyone can take part in #SpiritDay, simply wear purple on the 17th October as a sign of standing together against bullying.
Join us as we #PushPurple on the 17th October.
Take the online pledge at http://www.glaad.org/spiritday or more info visit http://www.SpiritDaySA.com.
Well Done Mika, I will #PushPurple!
Vicky Vox, Willam and Francois Sagat: Drag queens and my favourite gay porn star are all I need to be happy. I love gays.
P.S. I stole this off francoisssagat's delicious Instagram.
Xanax for Gay Summer Weddings: As we’re now already in Spring, Summer will be here before you know it. It is imperative you watch this.
Ultranocturne: Is a digital exhibition featuring 100 beautiful and damned nocturnal faces from London’s underground nightlife world, at its flagship club gathering… Room Service.
This series of images features some of my favourite drag queens, club kids and porn stars. “Observing their hedonism and self-expression in a twilight nirvana where judgement isn’t imposed and rules don’t manifest…where loud beats pulse, inhibitions disappear and the sweet smell of sex is in the air.”
I mean if this doesn’t make you want to get on the next flight to London you barely have a pulse.
Check out the whole series: http://www.ultranocturne.com
Lady Gaga - Applause: This official lyric video features some of our favourite RuPaul’s Drag Race Queens which must have been a real ball for them.
I heard Lady Gaga wants to be a judge on the next season of RPDR. I am sure they will make that happen. It’s just so obvious.
Anti-Gay Russia:There is currently an international outcry over the treatment of LGBT people in Russia.
President Vladimir Putin signed laws in June banning the promotion of “non-traditional relationships” toward minors, the adoption of Russian children by foreign same-sex couples and one which enables organisations receiving funding from abroad to be fined as “foreign agents”, were also passed. There seems to be a broader crackdown on Russia’s gay community by the government with violent outbreaks against gay people and out public figures being ostracised.
This controversy has the LGBTI activists around the world calling for a boycott of the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics (others have also called to boycott Russian vodka as a form of protest too).
The Olympics will start in less than 200 days and the Russian Interior Ministry has confirmed that the recently introduced anti-gay legislation will remain in force during the Sochi games. Human-rights activists and a few brave Olympic athletes are gearing up to make the IOC answer for Russia’s anti-gay propaganda law. But so far the threats of boycotts — including Russian vodka — have made no impression on the hosts. See more details here.
Now for some perspective, here are 76 countries where anti-gay laws are as bad as or worse than Russia, most of which are in my home land of Africa. We have some serious work to do on this continent.
BEST FACE SWAP EVER: Omg can we all just take a minute to marvel at this extraordinary life changing image.
Beyonce’s face on Adele’s body and vise versa!
I prefer Adele chubs otherwise she looks like a Russian Mail-Order Bride. Beyonce is white though hey. Sho.
Miss SA 2014: You all should know I live for Miss South Africa. I have an annual night cry that I don’t have a vagina that enables me to enter. I would own that shizz.
So on my behalf, I need all the beautiful, intelligent South African woman out there to make sure you enter this prestigious life changing beauty contest! Online entries are open until the 31st August. Get on that!
The Miss SA website has all the deets on what they are looking for and how to enter here.
I hope they do the reality show again, that just made it so easy for me to pretend I was one of the finalists…
Lady Gaga - Applause: Loving the early release from the new album ArtPop.
A clear and fresh sound to match the beautiful images she has been releasing as teasers.
Listen to Applause here.
Troye Sivan’s Coming Out: I mean I can’t say I am surprised (I may have the best gaydar in the whole world and I’m also humble) but I am impressed by Troye’s bold and informed coming out.
The young South African born actor and YouTube star made the big announcement last Wednesday on his YouTube page, which has nearly half a million subscribers. Troye Sivan, 18, is best known in South Africa for his roles as John ‘Spud’ Milton in the Spud movie series and young James Howlett in “X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
Ultimately, Sivan said he hoped his video would provide hope for other gay and bisexual people, just the way he found comfort in other YouTube coming out videos made by others when he was younger. He said, “Those people on YouTube, those brave, brave people on YouTube, without them, I don’t really know where I’d be.”
I am so proud of Troye. What he did was brave and will really set a fantastic example that there is no need to be ashamed of who you are. There seems to be this perception with gay actors that it will harm their career. I no longer think this is true and hopefully Troye will prove me right.
I am not sure if Troye realises it but he is now the face of the new out and proud generation of young gay people. Welcome to the family.
I see such a stark difference between young gays of today and my day (god, I sound 57). Things are changing!
Gays are the new blacks. YAY for human rights!
